Our hub bearings incorporate a sealed-type construction to deliver a sensor-integrated hub bearing. This design helps to prevent damage, corrosion, and adhesion of iron powders to the internal magnetizing encoder and the sensor probe–and makes our ABS sensors all the more reliable.
They are available in a variety of sizes, and are the most popular of all rolling bearings. This type of bearing supports radial and a certain degree of axial load in both directions simultaneously.
It is composed of the bearing shaft washer to be attached to the shaft, the housing shaft washers to be attached to the housing, the steel balls, and theretainer. Thrust bearings are able to receive axial loads only, and have high axial rigidity which makes them well suited for heavy axial loads.
Self-aligning ball bearings are of the double row type, with a spherical outer ring raceway. Their self-aligning capability allows them to compensate for misalignments, shaft deflections, and housing deformations.
Spherical thrust roller bearings are designed to carry high axial loads. They can also support radial load if magnitude is no more than 55% of the axial load being carried. These bearings are not suitable for high-speed rotation. Having a spherical housing washer raceway surface, these bearings are self-aligning and capable of adjusting to axial inclination. They are usually used with oil lubrication.
