Cartridge Units (UCC, UKC)

Our cartridges are available in metallic or rubber. The bearing inserts have grade 10 balls and super-finished ball paths to support proper lube film and reduce noise.

Flanged Bearing Units (UCF, UKF)

Specifically designed to provide excellent rigidity and stability under all loading conditions, the new range of plummer block housings have also been optimized to enhance resistance to vibration.

Flange Cartridge Units (UCFC,UKFC)

Cartridge units in the FBSA series have a flanged housing to enable quick and easy mounting. These ready-to-mount units are available for shaft diameters ranging from 20 to 60 mm and incorporate SKF single direction angular contact thrust ball bearings. Except for the ground surfaces, the units are surface-treated with a black-oxide finish.

Flange Units (UCFL, UKFL)

These bearing housings have oval flanges which can be easily installed onto a machine with two bolts. This type of bearing unit is suitable where mounting space is limited or where it is necessary to minimize the distance between shafts. The distance between bolt holes of an oval flange type is generally equal to the distance between bolt holes diagonal position of square flange type. UCFL Type is set at the shaft by use of the set screws and UKFL Type by use of the adapter.

Hanger Bearing Units (UCHA)

Ball hanger bearings are designed to provide adjustability in vertical shafting. It is used for conveyors.

Pillow Blocks (UCP, UKP)

Pillow blocks, the most commonly used type of mounted units, are designed to provide shaft support where the mounting surface is parallel to the shaft axis. The bolt holes are usually slotted for adjustment during mounting. Pillow blocks are supplied in a variety of configurations. Pressed steel pillow block bearings are also available for light-duty applications.

Take Up Units (UCT, UKT)

Take-up bearings are mounted bearings consisting of a guide frame, positioning screw, and mounting hardware and are typically used to align conveyor tracks and maintain conveyor belt tension. AST Bearings offers a wide range of take-up bearings units both in inch and metric dimensions.
